If you use a smartphone or calendar software with online support (Outlook, Google Calendar, etc.) you can subscribe to the Church's 'Special Events' calendar and get all upcoming church events sent to you automatically!

The specifics will vary depending on what type of calendar system you are using but these are a few instructions for some of the more popular ones...

iPhone

1. The easiest way to get the calendar onto your iPhone is to request an emailed link.  Fill out the form and the website will send you an email containing a link to the Special Events calendar.

2. Click on this link via the iPhone Mail app and you will be asked if you want to subscribe to the 'LBC Special Events' calendar.

3. Once that's done the calendar will appear in your iPhone calendar app and any changes will be sent to your phone automatically.

Google Calendar

1. First, go to the Church Calendar page on lbnaz.org.  Below the calendar are 3 icons containing links to the calendar in different formats.  Google Calendar understands the iCal format so right click on the iCal icon and copy the link.

2. Now log into your Google Calendar and look for the 'Other calendars' section on the lower left side of the screen.  Click on 'Add' then select 'Add by URL'.  Paste the copied link into the box and select 'Add Calendar'.

3. The special events calendar will now appear in your Google Calendar window and any updates will be sent automatically.

Outlook

There are a couple ways to add the Church calendar to Outlook.

1. Use this link to go to the Microsoft page that deals with adding a calendar subscription to Outlook.  Make sure to follow the directions for "Internet Calendar Subscription".  On the Church website, use the icon below the calendar that says 'iCal' for the link.

2. You can also use Google App Sync, available from Google.

Android & Palm Pre/WebOS Phones

1. If you are using an Android or Palm Pre/WebOS based phone you should have a Google account.  If not you should go to Google and sign up for one and then follow your phone manual to get your phone set up to sync with your new Google account.

2. Then log into Google and follow the above instructions for adding the Church calendar to your Google Calendar.  Assuming your phone is set up to properly sync with your Google account, Google will send the calendar and all updates to your phone automatically.

Blackberry Phones

Getting the Church calendar onto a Blackberry can be a little trickier.  The best way we've found is to set up a Google account, add the Church calendar to your Google calendar (using the above directions) and then use Google Blackberry Sync to download it to your phone.

Optionally, if you are already syncing your Blackberry with Outlook, you can follow the above directions for adding the Church calendar to Outlook and it should sync with your Blackberry.

Many different software platforms and devices have the ability to download the church calendar.  Anything that uses the .ics or iCal format will work great!  We suggest doing an online search for your particular devices + "subscribe to ics calendar" to find directions on how to make the system work with your particular needs.
