Just wanted to let the church know that we were able to raise $1,754 for H.I.S. Home Orphanage in Haiti! The kids, though I only met them once, have left a mark on my heart. In August 2012 we were able to deliver two wheelchairs. One kid in particular, a little boy named Lovens, was the one responsible for drawing us to Haiti in the first place! It was great to share a day with those precious kids. I hope to go back to Haiti soon! Anyone want to join me next year?
I am so glad to know we were able to lend a hand to the crew that make HIS Home work! Well done church and let us do it again! To take a look at the orphanage:
GOD Bless those kids!
1. Read Your Bible!
It will make you wise, knowledgeable, and capable of making great decisions. It cuts to the heart and makes you a better person! Read Hebrews 4
2. Read Your Bible!
Either this book will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from this book. Be intentional about resisting the devil and practicing a life that is Holy through Jesus' cleansing work in you! Read Matthew 4
3. Read Your Bible!
The Bible is full of great and true stories! It is a war story, a romance novel, a crazy reality show, full of success and failure, hilarious and intensely sad! It describes our past, present and our future! It is the story of everyone's soul. It gives us peace, joy and teaches us about Faith! Enjoy the Word!
4. Wash Your Hands after you use the restroom!
There are too many chances to catch a nasty bug! Remember to use soap and warm water while washing long enough to say the alphabet slowly. It is the way to ensure you killed 99.9% of the possible germs!
5. Read Your Bible!
Want to know how to have a fantastic life? Read Your Bible! The Good Book has all sorts of answers! The Bible doesn't promise that you will have a problem free life and lots of money. But it does teach us about Peace with God! Which is better, a problem free life on earth or peace with God for all of eternity? Philippians 4:7
6. Call your mom and dad!
Love your mom and dad as much as you can! Call your relatives and love'em! Thank God for the people in your life. Don't forget to share the love! Jesus has given us so much....so lets continue the pattern by being selfless, friendly, and loving! Exodus 20:12 & Proverbs 1:8
P.S. for extra credit, read your bible to your mom and dad!
Take a look at our grads and their baby pics! So fun to watch them grow into great young adults! What words of wisdom would you like to share with our graduating students? Share scripture, stories, and life lessons with these great young men and ladies! Comment below!
