Greetings!
By clicking on this page you have automatically signed up to be in the choir for the Easter production of Bow the Knee! Congratulations!
Just kidding!
Sometimes it can feel like that in church. Take a breath, we don't do things like that here at LBC. We want you to get involved when you are ready. That doesn't mean you have to have it all figured out ahead of time though. We are all about learn as you go. If you are interested in singing, playing an instrument, acting, technical support, building sets, costumes....you get the idea, we can find a place for your gifts and talents.
We believe in the Worship Arts at Liberty Bible Church.
Maybe you are asking yourself the question, "What are Worship Arts?" Great question! Allow me to shed some light.
Ultimately we worship God with our lives. Because our lives are multi-faceted there are many ways to express our worship. We can sing! That involves voice and heart. We can play an instrument. We can pray. We can serve others. We can give. We can study the Bible. These are just a few of the ways we can worship God. Most importantly, we need to be obedient. If we are being obedient to God and using what He has given/gifted us with, we are worshipping God with our lives.
At LBC the Worship Arts currently involve the Worship Band, Musical/Drama's, Technical Support, Dance, and a host of Support Roles crucial to making it all happen.
Why Worship Arts? Another great question. Music and drama have a way of communicating the Gospel, Life Lessons and Biblical Truths in a way that nothing else can. God has gifted many people with the skills and abilities to communicate this way. We do these things as an act of obedience.
Can I Be Involved in the Worship Arts at LBC? The best question! Yes! You can be involved in the Worship Arts at LBC. Just click on the Worship Band or Musical/Drama pages to find out all the details on what's available and how you can be a part of these great ministries.
I am excited for you to explore the Worship Arts ministries. Just remember one thing, we don't do these things for ourselves. Our goal is to lead followers of Jesus in worship and future followers of Jesus to the Gospel. Come help us make that happen!
Genuinely Worshipping Together,
Pastor James
