4 @ 4
4@4 is a running group here at Liberty Bible. We meet each Tuesday at 4:00pm for prayer and a 4 mile run. The location will change each week so make sure to check back here to find out where we'll be!
10/08 The Disc Run: For this special day we park our snow machines at Leverich Park. Off I-5 take exit #2 onto 39th Street, East on 39th to Leverich Park Way, north to south parking lot. First Disc Golf Tee is right there. We then hop onto the Burnt Bridge Trial heading east. Somewhere around Andresen we hit our mark and head on back home.
10/15 Rich’s Run: This great day will allow us to gather at the corner of Fruit Valley Road and Bernie Road. Hit the Burnt Bridge Trail and head east. Up and over the I-5 walk bridge, 2 miles and BAMM, turn around and head back the two you just came from. Come one come all this is all trail, no crazy stuff to avoid, sing outload and enjoy.
10/22 Gunnars Gasp: Put on your best sleeveless attire and join the man that made sleeveless a fashion trend. Place your sleeves at Town Plaza located at MacArthur and Mill Plain split. Park on the west side far lot as we head down Devine and catch the Burnt Bridge Trail, head east down the trail until we hit the two mark, tell your friend you prayed for him today and, head back home for a little “gasp” of a hill at the end.
10/29 Chuck’s Social Loop: Bring out the security at Chucks Produce Salmon Creek, park on the south side of the lot. We then head west over HWY 99 and turn right to meet “the hill” head up HWY 99 and turn left on 129th we loop around the neighborhood to only find ourselves coming back down the hill and heading home for ice cream.
11/05 Larry’s Leap: Bring your ride into Liberty Bible Church parking lot. After we gather for the pastor’s sermon we then head back out, turn right down Salmon Creek Ave to WSU, head to the bell, ring, head right back down the grass path until we hit exactly 1.875 mile mark where like good servants we will promptly stop, rest, and return.
11/12 Dave’s Library Loop: This favorite historical run brings the history and beauty of Vancouver all in one loop. Slide on in at 1007 East Mill Plain Library Headquarters building. Park on the south side, head out west down Evergreen to “C” street, left turn to 6th, right turn to Columbia, left to the river and head back east, cross under the freeway and head back to the fort.
11/19 Help me hill run: We begin like we would for Rich’s run at Fruit Valley Road and Bernie Ave. We then hop on Fruit Valley Road heading north; the mirage of hill looms in the distance but it is only a mirage. Head out/up two miles, give your home slice a high five then head on home!
11/26 Jay’s Blanford Challenge: This crazy run we follow Jay from the parking lot of Red Robin located at Grand Central. Park your running shoes next to the hedge on the west end of the lot, follow Jay as we head east toward Blanford, up, up and away to MacArthur, turn left and head down Mill Plain to Grand, left to Evergreen right on back home.
12/03 Jason Lee loop: This fun little challenging loop finds us starting at Jason Lee Middle School (8500 NW 9th). We begin our courageous jog heading south on 9th Avenue, right on 78th street, right on Lake Shore, right on 99th street, right on 9th and right back where we started. It just sounds so right.

12/10 LA Loop: This run begins its journey on the LA Fitness parking lot grounds in Hazel Dell. Park your scooter at the Southwest corner and head out toward Hazel Dell Ave. Head South to the Burnt Bridge Trail head, turn right, head west till you can’t go no more, turn right to 78th street, turn right, huff and puff your way back home.
12/17 Hantwick Headlight Run: This annual run is awesome! Park your reindeer at the Hantwick Trail head located at 29601 NE Hantwick Road Battle Ground. Bring your warm scarf and a headlamp for this nighttime adventure. It always turns dark on our return flight home but never fear God is near. https://www.clark.wa.gov/sites/default/files/dept/files/public-works/Parks/LuciaTrail.pdf

01/07 Town Plaza Loop: We begin by parking on the far west parking area of Town Plaza located at the “Y” of MacArthur and Mill Plain Blvd. Our path will take us straight down south on Blanford Hill where we will wrap ourselves all the way around to Grand Blvd. We take a right and head up, sorry about the up, and make our way to Mill Plain. Here we take another right to bring us, sorry up again. See ya back at Town Plaza.
01/14 WSU Bell Run: Park your dune buggy at Pleasant Valley Middle School 14320 NE 50th Ave. Park on the far south side lot, we then slap some treads on our feet and head west young runners. We make our way onto the WSU campus trail, ring the bell on our way through, hit the neighborhood fence, breathe, rest, turn around to head back home to warm up by the fire.
01/21 Dave’s Library Loop: After parking your Bookmobile on the South Side of Fort Vancouver Regional Library Headquarters (1007 East Mill Plain), we will head west on Evergreen and left on Columbia where we hook onto the river trail.
