(In-Person & on Zoom)
Sundays
4:30-6pm Youth Group will look different, but the focus, reason and purpose remains the same. JESUS!
For those of you planning to join in person, some things to keep in mind:
We want to thank you all for your understanding, encouragement, love, and prayers as we navigate this difficult season. I am reminded that the difficult seasons are what grow us deeper in love with God, and that is what I want, and what we want to teach our youth. Difficult does not have to mean bad, hopeless, or negative; it can be just what we need to draw our hearts towards the One who loves us most.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 We believe, and want to pass on, that it has been and will continue to be a season that offers change for the good, hope, joy, peace, and an unending redemptive love from our God. Thursdays (Worship & Prayer)
7-8pm Thursdays
Feb. 25th-April 1st in the Youth Center Would you like to take a 40-day resurrection journey with us? As some of you may know, we are entering into what we call Lent. During the forty days from Ash Wednesday, February 17th, to Easter April 4th, the days grow longer as we enter into spring. We begin in the darkness of winter and arrive in the brightness of spring. This is what Lent is all about: following Jesus into the hope and beauty of the resurrection. It is a time of remembrance, reflection, surrender, and anticipation of what’s to come. Ryan and I invite you to join us on a 40-day journey to the resurrection. We have prepared a daily devotional packet for students (and parents). Each day of this unique study offers a short, but meaningful look at Jesus’ journey to the cross and invites you into a season of surrender and an encounter with Jesus Christ. We all need the resurrection! Jesus invites us to not just hear about the resurrection, but to participate in it. This journey is an invitation, but not a requirement. If your family or students would like to journey with us the devotional will be available on our youth page to download and print or you can pick-up a printed copy at the church office. *They will also be available at youth group for your students to pick-up. As we journey together over the next 40-days we will not only devote intentional time with Jesus, but we will be setting aside intentional time to meet together as a group, for support, encouragement, to challenge each other and pray together. |
